Week
Another Monday. Another week upon us. And this one promised to be as fabulous as ever!
Over the weekend, hubby told me there is an almost 100% chance that he will be able to take me on a cruise for my 40th birthday. He's been asking people to babysit the kiddoes. He has a mediation in Florida the week after my birthday, and bunches of Southwest free flight points, so it will probably, most certainly, HAPPEN! WOOT!
Last night, he and I stood in line waiting to get into Best Buy to get a most elusive Christmas present for the family. We got it! We think we got a pretty good deal. I'm so very excited.
The money should be in the bank, and I should be able to pay for and start taking my certification courses tomorrow. Can you tell I'm ecstatic? Some of the teachers here are sad that I won't be available, but most are thrilled that I'm doing this! I'm actually teaching 7th grade math today. And doing a VERY good job at it, thank you very much. I'm the school secretary tomorrow, and Friday, I'm teaching 9th grade girls PE. I just got a visit from the math teacher on the team I usually teach for; she said to MAKE SURE I come get her if there are questions. Have I mentioned lately that I love my job?
Darren painted one coat in the living room this weekend. It's so pretty! It's a greenish tinted gray, that looks fabulous next to the red in the dining room. I know it doesn't sound like it would, but it does! We're moving around furniture and we bought a new rug. Next spring, we HOPE to be able to afford new furniture. It's all good.
Other than that, it's a pretty standard week. Christmas shopping is nearly finished. I'm rebuilding a web site for a past now current again client. And...oh yeah...life's good!
