It's Wednesday

I have missed Menu Planning Monday, Tackle It Tuesday and Wordless Wednesday. What is this world coming to?  Seriously, though, it's been a busy week, and I'm lucky to have any time online at all!

Last week, Matt had a ballgame. Now, I don't typically talk about blogging when I'm with people face to face. It has always seemed like my private little secret (that I share with the entire world, I guess).  Well, at Matt's game, I talked about blogging not once, but TWICE! I couldn't believe it!  I didn't even bring it up! One gal has a blog, and anoether wanted to learn more about it.  So I got to chat about one of my favorite hobbies. That was so much fun!

Saturday was wine tasting again. I'm so excited because I'm doing the web page at my wine bar. I love these people. Really love spending time with them and being myself. I look forward to creating a wonderful web page for them.

Sunday, Mikey turned 8. Time flies when you're having fun, and he is just a blast to be with. He invited friends and family over for swimming and cake and ice cream. They had so much fun! He was spoiled, as always. Most importantly, though, I got to share with him what an awesome and amazing little man I think he is. I am still blown away at the awesomeness of motherhood.

Emily is still running track. A lot. Every morning. She still amazes me. She's also taking ballet, jazz and pre pointe this summer. She had another ballgame the other night. She's really good friends with one of the gals on the team they played, and they got their pictures taken quite often. She has really and truly blossomed this year. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of her.  She had an orthodontic appointment again today. The ortho basically said that the braces would have been off months ago, but she is obviously not wearing her bands often enough. HA!  She was BUSTED!  I think she's ready to get serious about it now.

Speaking of ortho, Matt is getting braces in 3 weeks. They're going to try them for six months, but his mouth is tiny, so they may need to pull a couple of teeth after that. He did really well at the ortho. I think he's kind of excited about it, honestly.  He's really enjoying hip hop and tap.

Mikey's taking tap, too. That was a big surprise, when he wanted to take. He got his tap shoes today, and was downstairs doing shimshams and perididdles. He's so funny!

Sunday, we took Mikey to his favorite restaurant for his birthday. I wasn't feeling great, and in fact, I fell asleep at the table twice. At one point, I had my Blackberry out, and I set it on the table when the boys started fighting and we switched places. Monday, I realized I had left the phone at the restaurant. I called and spoke to our waitress, but she swears the phone wasn't there. Oddly, though, there are several calls made from that number. Anyway, my dear friend helped me get a replacement phone at a REALLY good price. I'm still angry, though, because once my new phone was here,  got two strange phone calls on it. I think it was people she had called.  Ooooh, my blood boils when I think of it. But, I am very pleased and thankful for my new phone.

Okay, so that's a full run down of the past few days of my life. Exciting, huh?  Until next time!
