Big day in our household

My Emily went to Leadership camp this week. She was elected as a Student Council representative for 8th grade, and was offered an opportunity to attend this camp. So, she hopped into somebody else's car, drove halfway across the state to the college her great Grandma graduated from, slept in a college dorm with other girls from our council, and just had an awesome and amazing time. She has sent cell phone pictures through the week, and she really enjoyed herself. She has grown a lot this week. I can tell just from talking to her! She is overflowing with ideas, and is more than ready to take on the Junior High.

She comes home today. I can't begin to tell you how much I've missed her. She's supposed to call when she's half an hour away, and the boys are going to pick up bouquets of flowers for her. We'll meet her at the parking lot at the middle school. I CANNOT WAIT.

Okay, if I'm this homesick for my baby girl when she's just been gone for a week, how am I going to be when she goes to college?
