Identity crisis
No, not of the personal kind. I'm dealing with that offline as well as I can.
I have a blog identity crisis. When I first started the blog, I was grieving over the loss of a dear friend who inspired so many. In fact, I was in a hotel room with other friends who were attending the funeral, when I purchased this blog. I really just wanted to be close to Nattie then. I figured it would be an online diary.
But I've not been really comfortable with that lately. I have a desire to make this blog USEFUL to somebody. But I haven't really figured out what face to put on it.
Over the last few weeks, I've been approached by several people who have asked me to help them plan a party. There is nothing I love more than planning parties! From casual lunches with friends, to birthday parties for kids; from dinner parties to wine tasting, from stamping parties to candle fetes, from church gatherings to nights on the town, my parties always get huge kudos, and people are always asking, "How did you do that?"
So, I figure I'll toy with party planning on this site. I'll give resources and ideas. Perhaps, once a week, I'll help YOU plan a party! I'll let you know what works and what doesn't. Ask questions, and I'll give advice!
We'll just play with this for a while, and see what happens. Are you up for it?
I'm off now to plan the Spring Cotillion Ball.

Val, could this be the employment opportunity you've been looking for??
