Shipping cars cross country
Last year, I did something I never thought I'd do. I bought my husband a Porsche. Site unseen. On eBay. Talk about commitment! See, he said that he was planning his midlife crisis and had narrowed it down to three choices: a girlfriend, a boat, or a sports car. Needless to say, I nixed the girlfriend idea. My dad then left his little aluminum fishing boat at our house (Hubby didn't say WHAT KIND of boat...), so it had to be a sports car. There is a man in our church who restores old Porsches, and he said he would help Hubby restore one that was in decent shape. We placed our bid, and to our surprise, WE WON! It's a beautiful car, and at this minute, it is running! Mission accomplished.
Back to the process, though. The car we won was in Utah. We live in Missouri. The car didn't run. So how do we get it here? We checked into car shipping options. One that we looked at was National Auto Shipping. They offer great deals, fantastic customer service, good consumer reviews and door to door service.
There is nothing quite like looking out your front window, and seeing your bright red Porsche arriving on the back of a shipping truck!
