It's Rah Rah time!

My daughter is going to try out for cheerleading. She's danced for years, and has always wanted to be a cheerleader, but it just hit me...she is trying out for cheerleading. In just one month. And I'm not at all sure she's ready.

It's expensive to cheer! $265 for clothing.  $210 for camp. I better start writing a LOT of Pay Per Posts!

I really hope she enjoys the process. I really hope she gets to cheer.  If she doesn't, I hope she comes down gracefully.  She's taken cheer for 2 years, and her teacher says she's good. She has no tumbling, but that's not a requirement.

I really hope she makes it!  I know she wants this!

It's a huge commitment. No fall or winter sports. Not nearly as much dance as this year (if any at all). Summer camp. Technique clinics. Chants. Poms. Whoa!  But...I was a cheerleader, and I loved it. I think she will, too.

I'll keep you posted!
