Find money for college

Although my oldest is just in 7th grade, her college education has been at the front of our concerns from the day we knew we were pregnant with her. At that time, we took the "we have no money to save," attitude. We didn't actually start physically saving for college for her until she was 7.

College is expensive!  Add to the fact that she wants to be a physician, and you're talking astronomical payments. Our initial thought was that we could pay for the undergraduate work if I get a position at a college. That doesn't seem to be happening, so we need to resort to Plan C...Scholarships.

I found a place online that will help you research and apply for scholarships. Scholarships.com is a free service with a constantly updating database of nationwide grants and scholarships available to students. You can subscribe to their service to be notified of new matching opportunities.

It's never too early to start researching college funding avenues. Scholarships.com is a great place to start.
