Well THAT explains it
I had no idea so many people read over here.
Okay, I'm going to take a vow. A serious promise here. I want you ALL to call me on it should I fall. Because I will fall. Trust me on that one. But I promise to not call myself names anymore. Deal? Hey, it's a baby step, but it's a step.
So I went back and started a discussion on the John Bible study. I had 2 of those 70 page spirals nearly filled with questions, because NOTHING made sense. It didn't flow. But it wasn't supposed to. It's the Bible, lots of stuff didn't make sense.
Now, sometimes my eyes go wonky on my. I'm diabetic and if my blod sugars are weird, my eyes react. I've been in a lot of pain this weekend, and have been on pain meds, so sometimes it hurt to read my Bible. So I'd pull up John on Bible Gateway. Or, so I though.
NOTHING was making sense, though. I'm serious. I'd go away, and come back to something that just didn't flow. I changed from The Message to NLT to NIV, just to see if I could get anything to flow. But it just wouldn't happen. I had a gazillion questions. I really was discouraged about how I couldn't figure this out.
Well, so I posted some of my questions. They told me I could post 4 at a time (I think I scared them with how many I had). Well, I posted them, and they didn't make sense then either. So I went back and typed out this long post about where these questions came from. I went to submit it, and one other gal had posted, "I think that's from 1 John, not John." NUH UH! No way. I double checked my Bible, and I had been reading John. I pulled up my Bible Gateway page, and it was on 1 John. :::::::::sigh::::::::::: NO WONDER I WAS SO CONFUSED! I was trying to piece together 2 completely separate parts of the Bible!
Well, I didn't knock myself nearly as much as I used to (look at my vow). I made a joke. I did cry to my hubby, and he said, "Well, I'm glad it didn't make sense. If it had made sense, I would have been worried. Now I just think you're an airhead." LOL I deserve that. I'm on pain meds. I'm going to blame it on that, okay?
So back to the REAL John 2. I'm going to get my reading glasses (actually, last night, I was reading with no contacts and no glasses, and it wasn't that bad).

Evening, Diabetes runs in my family. My sister is 10 years older than me and she has it. My brother was a juvenile diabetic. I hope you are taking care of yourself! My pastor used to tell me sometimes life is one step forward and
