Ketchup

Ketchup. Or catch-up. However you say it, let's play it!

Christmas usually sends me to bed sick. This year is no exception. I started feeling queasy Sunday, and by Christmas, I was so worn that I spent the whole day in bed. My blood sugars are wildly out of control. I am constantly nauseated. But life goes on. Emily's birthday is the 26th, and our anniversary is the 28th, so I have to do what I have to do. Fun, huh?  Yeah, I'm cranky. So what?

Today was fun. Our friend, David, graduated from college. I am so proud of him! He is well on his way to becoming a high school history teacher; a lifelong ambition. His wife, my best friend from college, threw him a surprise party at a pool hall. I do not play pool. Period. But I did, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I am TERRIBLE!  It was a lot of fun.

Tomorrow is churh, and Monday is the church New Year's Eve party, which I am hostessing, along with a few others. We're going to have fun, with movies in the sanctuary, Guitar Hero, board games and more. Safe and fun way to ring in 2008!

That's about all I'm in the mood to ketchup on. Time for bed.
