I did it
I got a tattoo today. It's a red heart, with a home in the middle, and Phillipians 4:13 arcing over the top. It's very significant.
Can you believe I did it? I sure can't!
By the way, Ph. 4:13 "I can do ALL things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Let's look at this...
1. I am skinnier than I ever thought I'd be. Even on days I didn't want to, I worked my tail off on my weight loss and good health goals. And I've persevered.
2. Despite my childhood, I am married to a really, really incredible man. Did I mention he was there with me, supporting me, loving me? He is amazing. Thank you God.
3. Oh, and I'm diabetic, have been for 35 years. And yet, I have all limbs, as well as my 3 incredibly healthy children, thank you very much.
4. Did I mention that I had MAJOR surgery in May? And that in November, I helped build a house?
I rock. Seriously. I have done all of this, and so much more, because of the strength of my Almighty Father. Try him on for size...I guarantee a perfect fit.
