Darren's on a business trip. Again. I miss him so stinkin' much when he's gone!

He did get to eat dinner with us tonight. And he'll be back tomorrow night. But still...I hate it.

In other news, Mikey's doing really well at school right now. Hey, let's take it one day at a time! He brought home a pretty darned good behavior report today! That makes me happy. He got up and got to walking club on time, with ZERO fighting!

Daisy doodle doo pulled a slick one. Seriously, sometimes she just scares me with how smart she is. Darren was leaving, so I told her to stay inside. She nosed her face out, and I said, "No, Daisy INSIDE." Next thing I know, she came dancing around the house like, "HA!  Look what *I* did!" Stinker had unlatched the front door and escaped. She saw me and immediately slouched into her famous, "Ooops, I got caught being bad," stance. She had to sit there while I kissed Darren good bye.

Tomorrow is our cub scout pack meeting. It's the annual costume party. Darren will take the boys while I deal with Emily and dancing. You know, here's the weird thing...last year, Mikey was an alien (only Mikey). This year, I had a really cool Superman outfit, but he found his old Alien costume, and, you guessed it, that's what he wants to be again!  Matt's going to be Darth Vader. I'm going to be a chauffer. Oh, wait, no costume change there.

Hey, if you think about it, pray for my pretty ring. It's missing. I'm sad.
