All good intentions go by the wayside

You'd think I'd get more blogging done, now that I supposedly have more time to do it, wouldn't you? But that doesn't seem to be the case!  I do have several entries I'm going to be adding pretty soon, and I need to do some Pay Per Post blogging (I'm finally starting to get paid for that endeavor WOOT!). So I'll just highlight a few things here.

1.  Dad was here for 2 weeks. We finally got to a good place, I believe. He's coming back in November, and only for a week then. I plan to be in a good place and welcome him with an open heart.

2.  It is fall, which is ALWAYS so busy in my family! Tonight, for example, we had Matt's soccer game, 2 parent teacher conferences, and Emily's choir concert. You know what? We hit ALL of them!

3.  I am still stressing out of money. I've cut back, canceling my Proactive membership, contemplating canceling my Sheer Cover (I love that and feel so pretty, though!), went from paying bi-monthly to monthly on dance, fired my maids, cut HBO, cut one of my phone lines, sold 2 of my domains, and have added some pay-per links (hey, should that be PAPER?) in my blog. I also applied to teach at a different school district.

4.  I filled out an application for GE Financial. It would be a work at home position. But...it's full time. I'm not sure I want to do full time right now. They called me!  When I told them I was looking for part time, they changed my application to reflect that, and asked me to please let them know if that changed, because they would be very interested in talking with me.  I have to tell you...it was tempting. Darren loved working for GE. They have amazing benefits (orthodontia is awesome, to say nothing about the home improvement and vacation deals you can get...we only scratched the surface there).  I go back and forth on this one. I'm going to check in on it again when I return from my mission trip.

5.  Speaking of...Emily and I are 16 days from the trip. We're going to go to the thrift shop to get some icky old jeans to wear, and we still need to get a couple of things. I think my heart is in a good place to face this now. I will miss my boys, but I think it's going to be good. Darren says Em and I will either return closer than ever, or ready to kill each other. But that's us on any given day anyway LOL  Seriously, Emily and I are pretty tight. I love her, I think she's amazing, and I am SO SO SO proud of what an amazing young lady she is!

6.  I am doing really well at both Curves and Weight Watchers. In fact, we were out the other night, and I had to buy a belt, because my pants were falling off my hips.

The dog's going nuts. Darren's outside with the hose. That's a SERIOUS game to her.  How funny!
