This has been a busy week!

Wow, is it Friday already? Where has the week gone?  I guess I could do a run down.

Monday:

Emily had dance from 4:45-7:30. This was her short day. Usually Matt has soccer games on Monday, but tonight he didn't WOOT!   I worked all day on my only client's computer issues. I love this lady. As in, I absolutely adore her. But she broke my cardinal rule; don't upgrade without contacting me first. She upgraded to Vista, and now is in a panic because we can't get her database to work. I did weigh in at Curves, just my own personal check because I had eaten part of a funnel cake over the weekend. WHAT?  It showed I LOST? Very cool!

Tuesday:

Emily and Matt had hip hop at 5:30. Emily had dance until 9:15 with an hour break (told you it was a long day!). Matt had a soccer game. So read that...hip hop and soccer back to back.  After dance, Emily said, "You know, I don't think I feel well." No...she wasn't. Ewwwwwww. So she went off to bed.

Wednesday:

Emily stayed home from school again.  Poor baby!  It was national Walk to School day. Darren worked from home, so we walked the boys to school...Daisy went with us!  They had a doughnut stand with water and coffee. Oh yes, and yum yums for Daisy. Daisy showed off her absolute adorableness (sit, shake, give me 5, lay down, roll over, and catch the yum yum off your nose). Matt actually ended up walking with a friend behind us. It was really fun!

Came home and went to Curves while Darren worked. While there, Darren got a phone call from school that Matt was coughing so hard that he was having trouble breathing. So I rushed to pick him up while Darren got ahold of the doctor. 2:15 appointment.

A little background on my Matt.  When I was pregnant with him, I kept going into labor; 32 weeks, 34 weeks, 35 weeks. When he was born, he was a BIG baby. 10 lbs 13 oz. He also had hyaline membrane disease at birth. During his first 9 months of life, he had pneumonia for 6 months.  We've always had to fight for treatment for Matt. His doctors needed prodding to get him a chest X ray when he was 8 months old. We needed excess testing to get him into speech therapy when he was 3. We finally got him diagnosed with outdoor allergies when he was 5 (just before the meds were over the counter available). We have been trying to get a doctor to give him one of those grid allergy tests since he was 3.

We finally got that doctor. When I brought him in Wednesday, Dr. H listened to his chest and cough and said, "I'm convinced it's asthma, so I'm going to treat him for that as we do the diagnostic tests."  Matt has an inhaler, which he's had to take 5 times, and is on Singulair. He also has hives on his face right now. Wednesday, we take him in for his testing. THANK YOU GOD!

Had Small Group. Hitched a ride with my pastor and his wife. I actually understood Galatians 2, so I actually talked, and apparently didn't sound stupid. BIG STEP THERE!  They have offered to auction off my tattoo (see Thursday entry) to earn money for the mission trip. Heh.

Oh yeah, and Darren was in Talladega, AL for a mediation.

Thursday:

Emily was still sick, so she stayed home and did the homework on her H drive at school. She finally started feeling okay around 6:00. I had my Weight Watchers meeting, where I lost again, so I'm inching ever so slowly toward my first goal (and yes, my tattoo...when I reach my first goal, I'm getting a tattoo on my leg because I'm a good girl who would never do that, but it doesn't scare me. HA).  Had dance. HURT my leg. We have to quickly bounce down with our leg out, and when I did that, "POP" OUCH!  Having trouble walking today. OW OW OW~yuck.

Friday:

Hey, that's today! Making my oatmeal for breakfast (YUMMY) and going to try to work out at Curves. Leg pain aside. Wish me luck on that! I'm going to make a yummy dinner...crock pot rotisserie chicken. Check my other valkgal blog for the recipe. It's AWESOME and AMAZING. It was actually REQUESTED at dinner last night. So there!

Y'all have a good day. I'll check in later.
