Do y'all get it yet?

How blessed are our lives when God is allowed to take control! No, it isn't always easy. Many times, when we're going through it, we are in tough circumstances. Yet, when we dust ourselves off, how often do we realize we've been blessed beyond measure?  Can you imagine living the life Jesus led (if you don't know what I'm talking about, feel free to pick up a Bible. Focus on these chapters: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). How weak are we that we lead privileged lives, and yet complain! We don't face what Jesus faced, and yet, look how he focused on his Father! Look at his rewards!

How many times have we wondered where are next meal is coming from? How often has God answered?

Who has gotten a DISCONNECT notice in the mail, only to follow up with something unexpected so that we could keep our utilities on?

How often does the alarm go off, and we hit SNOOZE over and over, dreading what the day will bring, only to get a bouquet of flowers?

Who has lost a loved one, and wondered how they will face the day, only to realize they are stronger than before?

Who has been so filled with anger/hurt/grief that they can't see the light, only to receive an unexpected correspondence from somebody?

This has happened to me at various times in my life. These mini miracles occur even now. It's just amazing to me! I've finally gotten it; finally accepted that God DOES love me and he DOES take care of me, and he IS concerned about my life. I matter! Now I eagerly anticipate the next blessing! The hard times aren't so difficult to face anymore, because God always leads me to greater things.

So here's a shout out to my main man.  No, not Darren (although he's pretty cool, too). I'm shouting to the Lord. He is MY beloved, and I am proud to be his daughter!

WOOT
