Monday's Moments
Reflecting on a few moments this early Monday morning.
1. Matt's baseball end of the season party was Saturday. I really like this team, and the coaches (two friends of ours, plus Darren) did an amazing job with these boys. It was fun to honor them.
2. I am dreading Darren's business trip this week. He leaves this morning, drives to Waterloo, IA, then flies to Pittsburgh, PA tomorrow. He'll be home late Wednesday night. Of course, I have Parent's Watch Night for Emily's dance, Miey's ballgame and Emily's softball party tonight, and Mikey's ball party and my dance class tomorrow. It' going to be BUSY.
3. Thankfully, it's Molly Maids day. A clean house will take the edge off my anxiety.
4. Speaking of clean...Mikey's and Matt's rooms are clean now. Lots of clothes recycled, and 5 (yes, count them, 5) bags of trash gathered so far. Emily's room is later this week.
5. I'm running a fever and am pretty nauseated. But I have no time to get sick.
6. Just 10 more days to vacation!
7. Dance for the Cure is next Saturday. Matt's doing hip hop, Em's doing jazz and cheer, and I'm doing adult jazz. Dress rehearsal Wednesday night, and I have nothing to do with Mikey.
8. Had a wonderful lunch with Lisa and Pete and Lexi.
9. I can start back to Curves today! Now I just need to find my keytag...
10. Been enjoying yummy strawberries, blackberries, tomatoes and peppers, fresh from the garden. YUMMY

...dance for the cure? My sister is involved with Arts for the Cure - is it related? She is reading a few of my pieces again this year and asked to have a picture of me this year, so that the gals would know what I looked like. I wrote a piece last year she read that really got thru to some of the women she had been trying to minister to...
