Friday is Mikey's 7th birthday. Where does time fly?  He has a pretty good list of goodies he wants. I forgot to plan his party (whoops...that's what this surgery will do to my memory!) so I called the bowling alley and they can accomodate us. I called about 10 friends, and Mikey is going to have a full group at the party. YAY!

And...we're going to have a VERY SPECIAL GUEST!  My awesome nephew, Trace, will be here. I am so excited about this! When he was a little guy, I got to be with him pretty much every day, and I really developed a strong bond with him. Then, my sister and Trace's dad divorce, we moved to Texas, my sister's gone through a rough patch, and Trace lives with his dad, so we haven't spent enough time together for the last 5 years. Now my Trace is a big guy, a sophomore in high school, an amazing football player (you should check out his YouTube video), nearly 16 years old. He called last week, and I invited him over for the weekend. He'll be here for Mikey's birthday, Mikey's tee ball game, and Mikey's birthday party.

Pattie's in town, and got her hair done today...by Trace's stepmom!  Just an odd coinkidink.
