Why am I doing this?

I've been toying around with the idea of a blog that's JUST MINE, hosted JUST FOR ME.  I have spent time over the last few years playing with Xanga, My Space, Type Pad, Word Press, Site Blog...on and on.  But I never took the BIG step, because I'm afraid I'm going to make a fool of myself.  But after the events of the last few days, I realized that I just needed to think less and move more.

So...I purchased my domain. I found a blog platform I liked (and could convince my hubby was a GOOD DEAL). And here I am!

So, hang on. I hope and pray we can drink tea together often. I hope you will gain insight, laughter, perspective, and more, from reading the ramblings of my fingers. I hope we can debate, discuss, and enjoy.

Come on in! Let's have a cuppa tea! The water's boiling, and several teas are ready to brew. My finest Victorian tea china it set. I have sugar cubes, lemons, and milk to offer. Cookies and scones. Honey and jam.
